Big things are happening in Clarkston!

Great weekend for the whole family!

This year we are trying something different- First of all the festival will be 2 days!  We are also having the festival in Milam park for twice the Music, food, art and fun! Next we are hosting an all day blues concert ( tickets $30) along side our FREE City of Clarkston Festival!

The Clarkston city Festival encompasses the entire Milam park and will feature:

  • Over 50 artist booths
  • VA services village and Support our Troops day!
  • A  food court - with international foods and beverages
  • An international pavilion - featuring cultural presentations from around the world – from Clarkston residents
  • A second stage – hosting local music and international entertainment  all day both Saturday and Sunday!
  • Shop Clarkston pavilion - featuring local businesses and coupons galore for local services and products!
  • Local and international food and entertainment

    A kids area with Moon walk,  games and activites

  • Sunday Gospel music on the big stage

Bring the whole family!

There will be plenty to do in the festival area both Saturday and Sunday. The large stage will host Gospel music on Sunday ( which is FREE) and more international entertainment and artists on both stages. Admission to the festival is free!

Support Our Soldiers Day Celebration

On Sat. Sept. 25, Veterans & Community Outreach Foundation of Clarkston, will be joining the City of Clarkston GA. @ the Clarkston City International Festival and Blues Concert In a world-wide celebration and fundraiser event to be held in Milam Park for our veterans in need. We join this campaign as part of an ongoing national effort to Support and provide help for our Veterans now.

Support Our Soldiers Day!

It will be a day to raise visibility and raise funds for our local Veteran Services Programs – a powerful new way to put the spotlight on veteran’s needs and contributions made by our hero’s during their service to our country.  The VCOF is planning a blues concert to help raise support funds for our ongoing veteran services programs and their families. Entitled “Support Our Soldiers” SOS Day celebration and we need your help.

NOTE: FREE Shuttle – Please park at Perimeter College FREE shuttles provided. No dogs or Coolers please

Clarkston Blues Concert

This year marks our 3rd anniversary of the City of Clarkston Georgia’s International Festival Music concert series. This year our musical lawn concert features the Blues. We are sponsoring an all day blues concert with headliners like:

  • Joe Louis Walker
  • Kenny Neal
  • Janiva Magness
  • Theodis Ealey

Along with award winning local musicians and performers all day long. The goal of the paid concert is to provide a great venue for the blues and to showcase our city festival . This also helps us attract sponsors and festival goers from the entire metro Atlanta area. We want to showcase the city’s many assets and promote the cultural and businesses we have here in Clarkston. Our primary purpose is to bring community residents together and to share a positive view of Clarkston with our neighbors.

Tickets for the Blues concert are $30 ( $25 in advance)

The Blues concert will be held on Saturday Sept 25 and lasts from 1pm – 10

The Paid Concert will be held on Armistead field. However the festival will span the entire park area so we have lots of free things to Come early and Bring your blanket!Seating will be on the great big grassy field – perfect for concert -goers! We will have Food and beverage vendors inside the concert area too.

Our goal is to bring together the residents of Clarkston, representing over 60 different cultures and residents from the surrounding Metro Atlanta area for a premier multi-cultural event.

We think the very best way to do that is to celebrate our uniqueness and invite others to enjoy our small town, big heart atmosphere through the arts including music, dance, and visual arts, food from several nations and an outdoor international market featuring artists, entrepreneurs and community organizations from all over the world.
