“The Clarkston City Blues Concert & Festival”- is the ultimate International festival experience that ignites on more than 5 acres in Milam Park. This annual 2-day music blowout features 2 stages offering live music all day in front of over 30,000 fans.

We have a stellar line up of award winning blues artists and local musical talent. Our unique mix of musical and dance talent makes this a two day event you won’t wnat to miss. We have authentic Kurdish dancers, amazing Burundi drummers, The seed and feed marching band, The Rick Carter project, Alternative rock and Middle Eastern and World Dance. The festival celebrates diversity in music and features dozens of local, regional and national performers in genres including everything from alternative, country, R&B and reggae to blues, zydeco, rock n’ roll, pop, Latin and more. This year’s Clarkston Fest performers include 4 National Blues performing acts, and many local and regional performers in Jazz, Gospel and International music genres.

This year’s Clarkston City Blues Concert & Festival, which will be held Sat. & Sun. Sept. 25-26, 2010 will provide exciting and affordable entertainment for all ages and musical tastes, plus a variety of food, shopping and children’s activities. Which also will include a Dekalb County Health Fair and Veterans Services Village. Clarkston Fest is an end of summer celebration and destination. Sponsors include Georgia Dept. of Health, The City of Clarkston GA and VCOF Gainsville and Clarkston.

Selected artists will be compensated for their performances..
